A Few Dollars More

This man saw it coming, and he advised the people what to do.  He tells you how to ride out the stock market, and still build a profitable retirement fund. I’m inclined to believe Bill Schmick’s financial advice blog A Few Dollars More is some thing the American people and investors abroad, should take into consideration.  If back   on August 22nd he predicted that there would be a 10-11% decline in the stock market, then I say he knows what he’s talking about.  Today’s Gain,s Tomorrow’s Losses http://afewdollarsmore.com/2008/08/22/today%e2%80%99s-gains-tomorrow%e2%80%99s-losses-2/ We can all learn from Bill Schmick’s financial advice, when buying and trading stocks. 

The Stray

  This was “Big Red”, (a stray)and all he wanted was to eat……..he was very skittish and wouldn’t let you near him……….He got a bad cold that turned into pneumonia and he was having a bad time, just staying healthy………he was skin and bones and all beat up, by a dog or something, when he first started coming around, and as you can see he picked up weight, after I fed him a few weeks. Unfortunately, he being weak, with the pneumonia, ended up in the wrong place again and showed up all beaten up, with his eye swollen and a big red gash across his face……..he never got over this………

Family Beach Vacation

  The travel abroad has gotten scary in the last few years, so many families choose to stay at home.  Let me tell you about a way to have a great vacation, but stay in the states. You should consider Morey’s Piers, a great place for a “New Jersey Vacation”.

Some of the hottest musical artists will appear live, which they call Magic Monday’s. We enjoyed all of the things to do, with days and nights of fun and celebration for people of every age and interest.

The Wildwood events were great with free concerts on Monday’s, on the Radio Disney stage next to the Giant Ferris Wheel on Morey’s Mariner’s Landing pier at 1 pm and 4 pm.  Take a turn on each Xtreme ride, then enjoy unlimited rides on all six roller coasters for only $30.
Whatever type of lodging you’re looking for, this is the one place where you can find just what you had in mind for your family beach vacation.  At the Cape May Hotels, you’ll find places to stay ranging from classic, “Doo-Wop” motels, with their funky 1950s personalities and colorful facades to cozy bed and breakfast establishments,or luxury beachfronts.  We   are in our 50′s and associate with those years. The grandkids had the time of their life and we all came home refreshed.
If you have a Scout in your family then the Beach Jam event is great.  Beach Jam Scout Event, now in its 14th year, provides scouts with an exciting, memorable and safe camping adventure.  This event takes place on the beach at Morey’s Piers.  The events  take place during the Spring – May 16 – 18, 2008 and Fall – September 27-28, 2008.  

Get wet at Raging Waters Waterpark and enjoy festive fun at the  New Jersey waterparks behind five miles of sunny, wide, free white sand beaches, with everything you need to relax in style at an affordable price. Hurricane Ike…..leaves a mess

This person points out debris from a pier destroyed by Hurricane Ike that has washed up in the backyard of a neighbor, Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 in Nassau Bay, Texas. Howling ashore with 110 mph winds, Hurricane Ike ravaged the Texas coast Saturday, flooding thousands of homes and businesses, shattering windows in Houston’s skyscrapers and knocking out power to millions of people.

  This man is wading to his apartment in flood waters left behind by Ike.  Hopefully he lived on the second floor, away from the rising waters.

A tree is uprooted as a person rides his bicycle through a storm damaged neighborhood in Friendswood, Texas.  It will take several days, before power can be restored and damage can be controlled and repaired.
