It seems like there’s always someone to buy a gift for. Whether it’s at work or your family members, the occasions just keep happening. I have one month that there are 5 different people in my family that have birthdays. Now, imagine trying to find a gift that won’t cost an arm and a leg for 5 people in one month. It’s not easy and some times I resort to gift cards with the 2 older one’s.
These Gift Occasions are a tremendous burden on a person with a fixed income. It’s hard to find the money to get Children’s Gifts and still be able to pay the regular monthly bills. Do you find it necessary to get a gift for everyone who comes due? I try to accommodate the situation, but sometimes come up short and have to flounder.
There’s a website that offers discount gifts and Decorative Homeware at reasonable prices. They will ship it to your direct and you can pay through PayPal or NoChex if you have an account with them. I’m sure they can give you an alternate way to pay if you don’t have one of those accounts. In the UK, they offer free shipping on any order over $40., so I suppose it pays to live abroad. For a good shopping experience, go to this website and look around.
At least 90 percent of economists predict the recession will end this year, although the recovery is likely to be bumpy. While the overall tone remains soft, there are emerging signs that the economy is stabilizing. How nice that will be to be able to find some closure and not be so worried about finances. The financial crisis that struck with force last fall and was the worst since the 1930s. I remember stories about how people were committing suicide, back then. With joblessness rising, consumers, major trend setters of overall economic activity, likely will stay cautious, making for a slow turnaround.
I live in a high risk area of the country, here in the US. The DFW area is right in the heart of a very congested area for traffic. Many accidents happen daily and some are very serious, even fatal. Thecar insurance faq is all too subtle, these days…….. It’s now a law, to have liability insurance in the DFW area and state of Texas. Most of the large areas have a policy that if you don’t have auto insurance when they stop you then they will tow your car to the local auto pound. This will get your attention, and fast. Not only do you have to pay for getting insurance, then you must pay the pound fee to get it out, plus your ticket fine. Now that’s quite an eye opener for many.

Earlier this week, computer giant Hewlett-Packard Co. said it would cut 6,400 jobs, or 2 percent of its work force, while credit-card issuer American Express Co. said it was slashing 4,000 jobs. Weary auto makers General Motors Corp. and Chrysler recently announced they will terminate their contracts with around 2,000 dealerships nationwide, which likely will result in shutdowns for many. The National Automobile Dealers Association, a trade group, said the auto makers’ decisions could result in 100,000 job losses. Both building permits and housing construction fell to record low annual rates in April, the government said earlier this week. So, what are the people to do, if they have no work, no place to live and no food?
