Just Texas……
I noticed that there’s a peach tree in full bloom, as I was driving down the street. It’s all nice and pink. The freeze that coming tonight will surely take down the new peaches, that are under the blooms. I guess all that nice 70′s weather we’ve been having, has got them all confused. I noticed that my rose bushes have new growth on them as well.
Pools Leaks
Hopefully everyone had drained their pool before now. It would be awful to develop a pool leak during this weather. It would freeze and cause a real big mess. There are people who have heated pools and keep them running this time of year. I suppose that’s fine if you can afford it. Suppose you develop a pool leak because of the harsh weather conditions. You will need to get the repairmen out as soon as possible. Otherwise the problem, will get worse and cause plenty of damage.
Cold and Dreary Day
It’s a cold and dreary day here in Texas, and it’s going to get worse the weathermen say. It’s supposed to get down right icey tonight and tomorrow. They say it may well be on into Wednesday. So, it’s time to get all the good cooking on the stove and hunker down, till it’s over. I don’t like cold weather, and can’t understand why people settle in the really cold areas of the country? I’d freeze to death in such conditions as some people live in.

Today Is Beautiful
The weather is gorgeous today and it’s supposed to be in the 80′s before the day is over with. It’s time to get the spring planting areas ready for what’s to come. I’m having a hard time getting my ex-son in law to come over and do the tilling for me, since and my stupid daughter have broken up. So, I don’t know if I’ll have a garden planted early this year, as I had hoped. Time will tell and tomorrow is another day……..

Freezing Cold……
Crowds braved the freezing cold to witness the swearing in of our 44th President. It was freezing, but people stayed outside in the cold overnight in order to have a place to be, the ceremonies began. Even though there was no snow or rain, the weather was hard on many and kept them huddling close to keep warm.
