I received the older gas grill that my sister & brother in law had extra. She bought him a new larger grill for their anniversary. I’m glad they had it, because that was something I could save money and not need to buy.

I now have a fire pit, which is a gift from my sister. I placed it in the back yard with some chairs around it. I hope to go buy some sacks of white rock and spread them out on the ground underneath the pit. This will protect the grass from catching fire during the time we have it burning.

There’s a large back yard that compliments this property to the point of a bit under 1/4 acre of land. There’s a riding lawn mower to help handle the expanse of the the yard keeping.

This is the front entrance and yard of the old house, I’m about to move into. The tree on the right was butchered by the electric company but managed to live into it’s 200 years. I remember climbing it back when I was a young girl.

Recently we had to put Mom and my step-dad in a nursing home for their own best interests. They have gotten to the point they no longer can care for themselves in the way that’s healthy. Since that time, I’ve considered moving into the old family home. It’s located about 35 miles east of Dallas, and nice small town effect. This is the house, where I will be living. It dates back to the early 1900′s and has been remodeled to make it more livable.
