I found this article on bloating and thought I’d share it with my readers…………
Contrary to popular belief, bloating is not a result of consuming too much water, it’s just the opposite. If you’re dehydrated, your body actually holds onto water, increasing puffiness and bloating. Drinking water helps prevent constipation by flushing waste out of your system and keeping your digestive tract moving. Drink at least eight glasses daily, and steer clear of alcohol; it acts as a diuretic. Exercise helps gas pass through the digestive tract, so you’ll experience relief faster. Start with a 15-minute walk, something so simple could work wonders. Sorbitol and maltitol are commonly used sugar substitutes cause gas and bloating. If you’re addicted to diet soda or sugarless gum, try to kick your habit. An added bonus to kicking your cola habitis cutting carbonation which equals less bloating. Dairy products can cause bloating in those who have a deficiency in lactase . Try eliminating dairy products from your diet and see if you notice a difference. If you’re a notoriously fast eater, you might be more prone to bloating and gas. When you eat quickly, you swallow more air, which results in bloating. Consuming too much food in one sitting by eating quickly will only add to your abdominal discomfort. Chinese-take-out connoisseurs and potato-chip lovers beware, excess salt bad for your heart, and is also a notorious bloating culprit. Sodium causes our bodies to retain water, inevitably resulting in a puffy, uncomfortable stomach. Fiber works wonders for your digestive system. It keeps your tummy full and your digestive system regular. But as with most things in life, balance is key. Bloating can actually be caused by consuming too much fiber AND too little fiber. Try to stay between 20 and 25 grams a day, make sure to drink enough water, and remember to increase your consumption gradually.

Many people eat too much salt and think they can’t live without it. Actually, they can’t live with it, if it’s too much. It is no secret that too much salt can be bad on your health. It causes the body to retain water, which can lead to heart disease, kidney stones, fluid retention and high blood pressure. Low-sodium diets are often prescribed to help keep these conditions under control. The American Heart Association recommends that healthy adults limit their sodium intake to 2,300 milligrams a day. A quarter teaspoon of sodium contains 600 milligrams of sodium. To avoid getting too much sodium, read labels.
One of the biggest problems is that sodium is hidden in foods that many would call healthy. Low-fat frozen entrees and canned foods are among the biggest…Most sodium, comes from regular table salt. I think this is a good article, an thought you would benefit from reading it.

Finding a new and different diet is something everyone is interested in. In boosting the body’s metabolism you must also know about your thyroid gland. Many people with difficult to manage weight issues are often told that their may be a problem with their thyroid. The gland found behind the adam’s apple in your neck has the main function to use iodine in food to make thyroid hormones. An adequate intake of iodine can help you thyroid gland perform well. An adequate intake of iodine can help you thyroid gland perform well. This is essential to any success you hope to achieve in boosting your metabolism. Not understanding is a mistake you cannot afford to make if you are serious about your weight loss and your health.

Jenny Craig meals are primarily lower-calorie versions of traditional meals, with no surprises in the ingredients, and in our opinion most people would be better off learning to make them at home, or simply eating smaller portions of the meals they already make, than buying pre-packaged meals for an inflated price.

Give your body a shock, doing exactly the opposite of what it expects you do to, will cause weight loss! If you eat many varieties of food, at least 4 times a day at different intervals, your body will burn up all of the calories you consume, and then it will start burning up fat tissue leaving you with a lean body!
Weight Watchers, takes too long and isn’t what your really looking for in a diet. these programs require special meal plans that you must have in order to succeed. I couldn’t get used to mixing all those different seasonings and they didn’t taste that good either.
The Fat loss Guru has an Online Fat Burning Diet Generator, that will generate an easy to follow 7 day diet plan. Your body can easily and safely burn up to 10 pounds every week! He’s so sure it will work, if it doesn’t work out during your first 60 days – he’ll give you all of your money back.

I’ve used diet pills before and they hyped me up so much that I felt like I was gong to jump right out of my body. I wish there was an easier way to diet, than all the exercise you have to do in order to burn off the calories. It was as if my heart was racing and I had to move around or get the jitters. Coffee doesn’t bother me like those pills did.

I think that with all the different ingredients, that is put into the pills, your body has a hard time adjusting to them once their in your blood stream. I didn’t like the way they made me feel, but I did like the weight loss.

It was certain, that once I stopped taking the diet pills, the weight would slowly return. I never have been able to keep the fat off, by taking pills. I had to exercise and do it weekly to keep the problem under control.

Walking was the best form of exercise I could find and it was nice to get out on a cool day to walk. The hot days were grueling, and I lost too many body fluids. I felt like giving up and usually did. So, if these diet pills can help keep the weight off without a lot of exercise, they will do the job.
